DCA Managing Partner, Curt Rocca, Sits on Exclusive Council of Regional Movers and Shakers

Mr. Rocca joined a prestigious council of regional movers and shakers, organized and hosted by Prosper Magazine, to brainstorm the Sacramento Region’s future. The panel’s high–level exchange of ideas was published in Prosper Business Magazine’s January 2006 Issue, and featured several of Rocca’s thoughts.

“ROCCA: ‘One of the great complaints that we tend to hear in the business community about this region is how few headquartered companies this area has been able to develop and build on [our] own. Our private equity fund takes some of the great businesses that are here and provides them with the additional economic and intellectual capital they need to sustain themselves successfully in this region so they aren’t acquired and transported to Toledo, Ohio.’”

On the Riverfront
“ROCCA: ‘If you look at it, our riverfront is much prettier than say, San Antonio’s. If you [built] an arena, a beautiful amphitheater and another bridge connecting downtown Sacramento with West Sacramento, you would have… a very cool central area.’”
